The clients’ reasons for the establishment of the E-stanovanja information system:

MJU, MORS and the Police each manage their own fund of housing units. They requested a multi-user web application for the purpose of keeping housing unit records.

Solution:

In addition to keeping housing unit records, the E-stanovanja (E-apartments) application also offers tenancy agreement print-outs, extracts from various reports/statements/statistics, calculations of rent/wear and tear costs/apartment evaluations, monitoring of maintenance claims, automatic user notifications, import/export off data, process support (application to tenders for apartments, contract information sheet process, implementation of maintenance claims, lawsuits). By implementing the E-stanovanja IT solution, the clients gained:

• a highly flexible system that provides support for processes,
• faster data input, normalisation of data and elimination of the possibility of incorrect or double entries of data,
• permanent online accessibility,
• simple import/export of data (reserve fund, rents),
• up-to-date acquisition of information about records and ease of reporting, extracting and reviewing data that is crucial for the operation of these bodies,
• connection to external systems (MFERAC, Register of business units, Buildings cadastre, Land cadastre).

In addition to designing and developing the system, the consortium of contractual partners also handles the upgrading and expansion of the system in accordance with legislative and other relevant changes.
