 The client’s reasons for the establishment of the DOMIS information system:
The client noticed that there was a need to establish uniform IT support for services provided under the Social Security Act, particularly the implementation of various forms of institutional care and related services as well as an automatic reporting system for the needs of the Community of Social Institutes and MDDSZ, with a special focus on:
- the unification of the information infrastructure of the Community members,
- establishing a unified recording and reporting system and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted, rational and transparent reporting, and
- providing high quality support for the operation of Community members and users outside of the Community system.

KURIR information system to support the implementation of war-related legislation |
 The client’s reasons for the establishment of the KURIR information system:
The amended war-related legislation and an increased number of war veteran annuity claimants in post-war Slovenia created a demand for an upgrade of IT support for the implementation of relevant legislation. There was a need for an information system that would contribute to cutting the costs of implementing war-related legislation as well as:
- operate centrally with the option to manage individual parts of the system locally,
- be integrated in the wider, national information system (civil register, financial and accounting system, banks, etc.),
- be highly adaptable, considering the large number of legislation amendments in this field, and
- provide stability, traceability and the ability to process large volumes of data.

Information System for Social Work Centres (ISCSD) |
 The client’s reasons for the establishment of ISCSD:
Social Work Centres (CSD) operate within the context of MDDSZ. To ensure successful implementation of various laws in the field of social transfers, they needed a system that would:
- provide uniform support when it comes to decisions about the eligibility of individuals to receive public funds,
- provide support for payments of public funds,
- hold a unified database of all claimants of public funds,
- enable specific information to be provided to other government bodies and relevant users.
