The client’s reasons for the establishment of the DOMIS information system:

The client noticed that there was a need to establish uniform IT support for services provided under the Social Security Act, particularly the implementation of various forms of institutional care and related services as well as an automatic reporting system for the needs of the Community of Social Institutes and MDDSZ, with a special focus on:

• the unification of the information infrastructure of the Community members,
• establishing a unified recording and reporting system and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted, rational and transparent reporting, and
• providing high quality support for the operation of Community members and users outside of the Community system.

Solution:

IS DOMIS, created in collaboration with business partners Art d.o.o. and Inin d.o.o., is an information system for the monitoring of transactions and reporting the activities of social security service providers. For a number of different social welfare institutes (e.g. nursing homes for the elderly, specialised social welfare institutes, etc.), the system provides efficient support for the implementation of business processes in the following fields:

• the field of social care (preparing for admission, admission, managing residents’ data, monitoring and accounts of social care services, etc.)
• the field of nursing care, home care, assisted living facilities and day care (managing/monitoring data on residents’ health, nursing care services, incontinence items, separately chargeable items, charging for Health Insurance Institute services, etc.)

• the field of finance and accounting, salaries and human resource records, material management, fixed assets,

• the field of documentation management (registering incoming and outgoing mail, classification and marking of cases, monitoring case solving, archiving, etc.)
• the field of a central reporting system (specified data processing and preparation of specified extracts; preparation of various reports and reporting for the needs of institutes, Community of Social Institutes, MDDSZ and other organisations).

In addition to designing and developing the system, Comland and its project partners also provide user support for system users and handle the optimisation, upgrading and expansion of the system in accordance with legislative and other relevant changes.
